I'm pleading with you readers out there.
Someone, inject some sort of all-natural energizing and motivating something into my veins...
Schoolwork whispers in my ear, "time to work on me," but I just ignore its annoying little voice and find other things that need to be done--like dusting or slow-roasting chiles over the stove. Completely necessary.
It's that time of year again.

i can't help you. i'm probably worse than you are. sorry.
Read: "A Wizard of Earthsea" by Ursula K. Le Guin
or "White Noise" by Don Delilo
or "The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao" by Junot Diaz (I haven't read it, but as I'm sure you know people love it)
or (my personal favorite of my Summer reading): "100 years of Solitude" by Gabriel Garcia Marquez
AND if all those fail I can send you some of my recent essays to edit. Miss you.
Tell your school voice to kiss off!
